D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is the official Disney fan club's biggest celebration, bringing together fans of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, Disney Parks, movies, shows, collectibles, and more. The event is hosted in Anaheim, California, with the 2026 event taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center and major presentations also held at the Honda Center. The Anaheim Convention Center is located right by the Disneyland Resort area, making it extremely convenient for fans who want to pair the event with a visit to Disneyland. D23 is truly the ultimate fan event, offering exclusive announcements, behind-the-scenes panels, special merchandise, celebrity appearances, and a first look at the future of Disney.
What I thought
D23 was an amazing event to attend, and if you are a Disney fan, it truly is the ultimate experience to add to your list. The event featured so many incredible vendors and brands for every type of Disney fan, including RSVLTS, my personal favorite, along with Loungefly, Lorcana, Disney Channel, National Geographic, and more. It also had numerous exhibits, including Cars, Disney history, and artwork throughout the convention.
I will say this is definitely an event you should plan to do over multiple days. I only went for one day, and it was absolutely not enough time. I wish I had planned for several days so I could take everything in without feeling rushed. As you walk around, you see famous people, Disney Legends, amazing costumes, and an incredible level of fandom everywhere you turn.
Another great part is the location. D23 is hosted right across the street from Disneyland, which makes it very easy to turn it into a full Disneyland vacation. We visited Disneyland first and then went to the convention, so it was very simple to do both in one trip. I highly recommend D23 for any true Disney lover. It feels like stepping into a whole new world, and it is truly a life-changing experience for anyone who loves Disney.
The amount of vendor booths and exclusives
My favorite thing was the amount of various vendor booths and exclusives. There was so much to look through, shop, and experience, which made the event feel exciting from start to finish.
Not enough time to see everything
My least favorite thing was not having enough time to see everything. D23 had so much going on that it felt like there was always another booth, panel, or experience I still wanted to get to.
